Bushman Ukuleles

BU7C - Jenny Concert
Product Description:
All solid wood construction - that's what sets Jenny apart from the bulk of ukuleles on the market today. No matter how it’s cut, shaped or built an instrument made of laminated wood just can’t compete with the rich, beautiful, big tone that comes from this ukulele's all solid wood acoustic chamber. To make Jenny, we start with hand selected Brazilian Mahogany that was harvested in the allowed logging area on the outskirts of Brazil’s pristine Rainforest. This wood is gorgeous, both in tone and appearance, and it’s a perfect wood for making top quality, great sounding ukuleles. So from solid Brazilian Mahogany our luthier (stringed instrument craftsman) forms Jenny's top, back, sides and neck to create a ukulele with unrivaled tone in it's price range. Position dots are inlaid into the rosewood fingerboard. A white binding with a Paua Abalone shell colored inner purfling surrounds her top, sound hole, and headstock. The back is also bound in white, but without the Paua colored purfling. The Jenny Concert has traditionally styled, back-mounted, friction tuning pegs which most uke lovers like better than the side mounted, tuning machines used by others. This pro quality instrument is then strung with genuine Aquila strings - the preferred string among professional ukulele players. The white nut and saddle match the white binding. The beautiful Mahogany is meticulously rubbed into to a high gloss finish, and the fret edges and neck are sanded to a baby bottom smooth feel; all to make Jenny the ultimate combination of beauty and function.
